Zach was born a bastard child, on a rainy day in march, in a battered woman's shelter non the less. His mother had finally managed to escape from her abusive drug dealing boyfriend, only to be thrusted into another hard ship when Zach was born. Zach's mother was never a strong woman, or an admirable one at that, but Z loved her unconditionally despite it. His mother did her best to make ends meet, but between the depression, and the man hunting, Z was left on his own quite a bit. At age six he was making himself dinner, brushing his teeth, putting himself to bed, and walking to the school bus all by himself. Zach had a passion for learning, and that is what motivated him much of his life. As Zach grew older he became more of a nuisance for his often changing step dads. Zach wasnt an easy kid to deal with, he didnt like sports, he wasnt much into talking, and he preferred to be left alone. Every attempt his new step dads made to bond with him, he turned down for his computer and drawing pad. As Zach often told them, there was no point in getting to know them because they wouldnt be around long.

Z's mother always managed to scare them off by her depression, or worse when she stopped taking her bi-polar meds and flew off the handle. Regardless of how his mother treated him, Z was always right there to take care of her. Even though she became more difficult to deal with the older he got, his love for her always kept him from leaving. Though when it was time to go to college, Z was torn. He knew without his constant supervision she would do something incredibly stupid, like run into traffic, cause a scene at a store, or worse attempt to kill herself for the ninth or tenth time. The emotional toll his mother took on him is even aparent now, and he does his best to avoid people all together. While in his junior year of college his mother finally managed to off herself, and the emotional toll it took on Zach made him leave school all together. Zach now hides himself away in his apartment, working for several companies under an alias, and hardly ventures out into the real world. Zach finds that the best time to be around the city is as night.

Zach often sneaks out of his apartment to litter the streets with his graffiti art. His pieces are usually morbid, or emotional. He feels that illegally painting the city is therapy. While he's tagging he doesn't feel anything but at peace, and the feeling had become more addicting. Z is mildly involved in drugs, preferably pills or hallucinogens but he will take what he can get. Needless to say this little orphan is incredibly intelligent but socially inept.
