year of work >> his job BIO: maddox grew up in dallas, tx. his parents, shelly and david, were together for all of three years of his life before they couldn't handle each other anymore. it wasn't like they had this huge falling out, they just weren't supposed to be together anymore, so they weren't. he never got remarried. she, on the other hand, was married within the next two years. she was one of those women that was great at being a house wife and brough her kids up right, always making sure they knew their manners and was honest with their parents. however, mason, the knew husband, was the type of guy that didn't appreciate that about her. he was kind of a dick, and madd knew that from a young age, so the two of them never really got along. he was always taking his mother's side and helping her out whenever they started to fight after that newlywed stage wore off. during that newlywed stage, they'd decided it was a good idea to have another kid, so he ended up with a younger half sister. six year age difference meant that they would never really get along all that well until he was out of high school, but he'd always looked out for her. he never really got terrible grades in school, but it was obvious where his forte was at a young age. he tried not to act like he was excited about it, but he got put in the enriched programs for music and art when he was in elementary school. he tried to play it off like it pissed him off, and when he got into middle school, he joined the choir and art classes. people stared making fun of him a little bit, so he started punching their faces in a little bit. he never got in serious fights to where he was expelled from school, but he got in enough fights to where people knew better. he got to high school and people had left him alone about his talents because by now, it was a chick magnet. he didn't really fuck around with girls, but he wouldn't object to a date here and there. his high school popularity was short lived, though. one night, his step dad and mom got in a huge fight, one that got a little too intense. mason never really hit his mother, but it was too close for comfort, so maddox put him in his place and beat the hell out of him. he'd disrespected her for eleven years of his life, and he just wasn't having it anymore. to teach him a lesson, mason pressed charges and got sentenced to six months juvvie since. his high school life wasn't really the same after that, people didn't know how to react to him. he graduated, barely passing any of his math and science classes. for awhile, he played a lot of music and battle of the bands type things, but he got a job as a tattoo artist at twenty-one, feeling like that was going to be a career that could actually produce something for him. when he was twenty four, he fell madly in love with one of his clients. they were together for almost a year when, one night she was out with her friends, they were driving, completely sober, and got hit by a drunk driver at a four way intersection. she got killed on impact, being in the passenger's seat. he hasn't dated anyone since then. he's moved to carmel to try and start his own tattoo shop, eventually, but mainly live anywhere but dallas, since there are too many bad memories there. he wants to start over. he's a fun guy, easy to get along with, but he doesn't let a lot of people in, so a lot of the friendships he has are going to be pretty simple, just fun to hang around, goof off, be silly. he'll be affectionate with girls, not to the point of making out with them constantly, but he'll wrap his arm around them and all, so sometimes they get the wrong idea. some girls, he will actually hit on, so there may be a make out buddy or two, but probably no serious relationships, as he hasn't gotten completely over molly and isn't sure he's ready to have another serious relationship. he'll probably have enemies, though he won't go looking for them. if you cross someone he's loyal to, he will come after you and won't be afraid to remind you to never do it again. he's an honest person, to the point of hurting people's feelings sometimes, but he'd rather you hear the truth than lie to you.
