after she had gotten dressed that morning, including her accessories and back pack joey sighed with a hint of laughter in her voice. "well g'mornin' folks, for those of you just tunin' in this is bert healy saying-" she spoke in her 1930s radio host voice to her reflection as it stared back at her. her mother's voice appeared in her head, which happened often when joey second-guessed herself. it was almost like her inner voice, her jiminy cricket, was her mother. although, of course, joey couldn't stand her mother since she was always trying to mold joey into the perfect daughter, and believe me art, star wars and comic books was not apart of that mold. anyway, the voice in her head told her she looked like a thirteen year old and that joey needed to start acting her age. but she shook the voice away, and gave herself a grin. before she began dancing in her mirror, picking up where she left off. "hey, hobo man! hey dapper dan! you've both got ya'style but brother your never fully dressed without a smile." she waved her fingers around, before turning around and leaving her bathroom. the girl checked her pockets, and back pack, and made sure she had everything. phone, check; cigarettes and lighter, check; wallet, check; bike lock and chain, check. when she was finished with the checklist, she grabbed her bike from her bedroom and wheeled her way out of her apartment.
before she began her journey, joey placed a cigarette between her lips and lit it as she inhaled deeply. then she was off. a lot of people laughed at her as she drove by, she just popped up her middle finger and continued on. she found herself at the park, and a small grin appeared on her face. joey rode along past groups of people, inhaling the smells of cologne; perfume; cigarette smoke; etc. and then she came across an ice cream stand, and couldn't resist. the mere thought of strawberry ice cream put the taste in joey's mouth. the girl bought herself a small cone and a bottled water then found a bench where she could indulge. her eyes wandered the area, shooting small glances at the people who walked by as she enjoyed the frozen treat. her eyes glanced over at her bike, which was propped up against the bench right next to her. around the time she first moved to carmel, she left her bike a few inches away from her and some kid just walked on by and snagged it. so, she always made sure she kept a close eye on it.
the brunette then pulled her iphone from her pocket, snapping a photograph of her ice cream. she smirked as she sent it out on instagram, at first she thought it was stupid but joey then found herself addicted. much like the rest of the social networking sites she was on, they just sort of meshed into the routine of joey's. wake up, post a picture of breakfast and morning joint on instagram and twitter, engage in breakfast and morning joint, get dressed, post a picture of the day's outfit on instagram and twitter, well you get the idea. it was all just a cycle, but joey didn't mind it. she liked keeping things organized as much as possible.
words uh enough? :3 notes i rambled a bit, sorry <3 tagged no one. roam free! outfit click
