WELL, HELLO THERE, WHAT'S YOUR NAME?
my name is waverly cambridge.
I SUPPOSE THAT'S GOOD TO HEAR. WHAT SHOULD I CALL YOU? I MEAN, YOU PROBABLY HAVE A NICKNAME OR SOMETHING.
waverly, please.
AND HOW OLD ARE YOU?
i turned twenty-one august eigth.
WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING?
i'm finishing up my degree in education so i can become an english teacher. reading and writing has always been a passion of mine.
WHAT WERE THE LAST FIVE THINGS YOU BOUGHT?
i ordered the new john mayer CD, a salad from the campus cafe, looking for alaska by john green, and a new cell phone case so that my iphone won't break if i drop it.
IF YOU SHUFFLED YOUR IPOD RIGHT NOW, WHAT FIVE SONGS WOULD COME UP?
gravity by sarah bareilles, merry happy by kate nash, hello by karmin, postcards from paris by the band perry and daughters by john mayer.
THOSE ARE SOME GOOD SONGS...NOW, WHAT DO YOU HATE MORE THEN ANYTHING? LIKE, TOP FIVE HATED THINGS.
this girl from school that slept with my college sweetheart, eliza. the smell of lavender, thanks to my sisten. jellyfish, from when one stung me. cosmo magazine, for lying to me about how brunettes could dye their hair red and get away with it...and twitter. cannot stand that gossip site
AND YOUR FEARS?
its silly, really, but i'm afraid of love. my last boyfriend slept with this girl, eliza, and my mother and father don't have the most stable relationship. they argue all the time and i cannot help but wonder if i was a last attempt at saving a failing marriage. i've never believed in fairy tales or hopelessly romantic story lines, so love doesn't really exists. i'm also afraid that i'll never amount to anything. not to point fingers, but my father hasn't produced a well-received novel in years and spends his time writing for the time. its not bad, but i want to do something i love like he once did.
NOW, TELL ME ABOUT YOUR FAMILY. WHAT ARE YOUR PARENTS' NAMES AND AGES? ANY SIBLINGS OR CLOSE EXTENDED FAMILY?
i have a few siblings, whom i'm sure you'll meet later on. my mother, georgia, has a very bad reputation. you've heard of her? i'm not surprised. apparently she got into some trouble when she was my age and never really went past that. she and my father, william, married after they complete college. it was a sudden thing after he got his heart broken from his college sweetheart and she was desperate for some attention. i know i sound bitter, but its just a simple fact of life. i think they were in love when i was younger, but now they barely spend time with each other. for my siblings and i, it sucked. they still argue, and i'm glad that we all moved out of the house when we did.
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO WITH THE REST OF YOUR LIFE?
honestly, i would love to become a high school english teacher. while my boyfriend at the time was a jerk, i personally had a great time. it sounds super cliche, but i want to help students like my teachers helped me.
YOU SEEM LIKE A GREAT PERSON.
well thank you, that's very kind of you to say.

Sighing, Johnny ran his hand over his face. It had been such a stressful week, from running around with Vienna to managing his business. Not only had he moved from Santa Monica to Boston over the period of a couple months, but he had started his own athletic training business with one of his buddies. There were some famous names thrown into the mix of clients, but the fact that Johnny now had to do math every day was stressing him out. He was handsome, yes, but math had never been his strong suit. And to add to all of it, he hadn’t heard from his sister within the last couple of days. It freaked him out when he didn’t hear from her, but his mother had calmed him and reminded him that she had a son to take care of while he was busy with a business. Both had different types of babies, and both were at different point in their lives.
He stood up from his kitchen table and grabbed his jacket before moving out the door, ready for the wind. It was getting darker earlier in the evening now, now that fall was arriving, and he liked it. Fall was his favorite season, mostly because the leaves changed and it got cooler. While he adored the hot weather and going to the beach during the summer, he was glad to see it go. Now, at least, his clients would rather work out inside instead of outside. The heat was horrible running weather. Johnny made his way to the sidewalk, his eyes already set on the coffee shop that was right around the corner. Most likely, the girl, Ingrid, was finishing up his coffee and it would be ready for him. He hated waiting in line, and the teenager had a school girl crush on him, which was adorable. He would never make a move, but he was more than happy to abuse the free coffee cuts. Pushing the door open with a ping, he smiled at her over the line before collecting it right by the entrance. A collective groan echoed the small shop, and he rolled his eyes before exiting once more. Maybe if he was a couple years younger, he would be flirt with her, but the age difference was a little large…then again, he was a little older than Vienna herself.
His heart fluttered at her name, but pushed his feelings aside. She had been acting a little weird lately, weirder than normal. He had been giving her space, allowing her to work though her troubles, but he wouldn’t wait forever. Johnny may have acted like he enjoyed all of the secrets and that he would be patient, but they had been dating a couple of months…he hated pretending that everything was alright. Pushing the thoughts out of his mind, he grabbed his book out of his back pocket and found a bench somewhere near the entrance of the park he had found himself by. His favorite novel (of the moment) was The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and he enjoyed the witty banter between the characters. While he was not into the blood and guts that the movie had, as well as the rape, the book was well written enough to grab his taste. He folded the cover back and found his page, before his eyes began to absorb the words that were on the tan paper. He almost didn’t realize that someone had found their way to the empty seat next to him, and he was so engrossed in the novel that he hadn’t even noticed the person said something. Blinking, Johnny pulled himself away from the novel and looked at the person. ”I’m sorry, what was that?”
