forget about having a short paragraph about the house, it has it's own website. the villa was originally designed to house the entire wyatt family. oliver had moved out after college and his sister lived in the guest house with her husband, until the birth of her first child. it was only after oliver's parent's deaths that he moved back into the villa. he now lives there by himself and occasionally he rents the guest house out to tourists or close friends.

before oliver moved back in, the place had been decorated by his mother. much of the original decorations are still in place, but oliver has made the villa more of a bachelor pad. his new renovations to the house include his own gym area and a movie theater. he has made his parent's bedroom his own. the only part of the house oliver has left untouched is his father's office. several of the bedrooms remain empty and are not in use, but one of them does house boxes of the family's old stuff. oliver doesn't have the heart to throw them away, so he keeps everything in storage. the house does have its own private beach, so oliver does often throw parties that can get quite out of hand. he hates being alone in the house, so when he is there, he's rarely alone.

when oliver's parents first met, oliver's father had just inherited wyatt industries and was still very new to the job. his father had just relocated to the san francisco area and managed to get himself quite lost on the streets of the city. luckily, his future wife worked in the same building and after an awkward explanation, they found the building together. though the next couple of weeks were hectic, oliver's parents still found the time to meet up and eventually fall in the love. two years later, they were married. a year later, oliver's mother was pregnant with his sister. at the time, his parents were living in san francisco, but they had taken a trip to their home in carmel. it was there when oliver's mother unexpectedly went into labor. with their first child born in carmel, the family decided it was best to stay there.

six years after the birth of his sister, oliver was born. growing up, oliver spent most of his time on the beach. with their house facing the ocean, the beach was his playground. however, oliver was prone to sickness and spent quite a bit of time in and out of the hospital. his father spent most of his time at work, but whenever he did come home, he would always take oliver surfing. it was through surfing that oliver made most of his friends during his childhood. though most of the children he played with were just tourists, it never bothered oliver. it wasn't until high school when his parents finally decided it was safe enough to let him attend public school. when he was old enough, oliver's father pushed him to get a job to teach him "responsibility". at that time, his sister had graduated and moved away to attend college.

oliver's first job was at the surfer shack. he didn't really do much except for keep track of the rentals and the occasional cleaning. at school, oliver found it difficult to fit in with the rest of the kids, but he got along well with his co-workers at the surfer shack. though his friends were all older than him, they didn't mind letting oliver tag along. by now, his father was starting to prepare him and take over the family business. however, oliver had little interest in his father's company and instead enjoyed partying with the older kids. it wasn't until his parents threatened to send him to boarding school that he decided to back off a little bit. still, he managed to find a nice balance between his social life and school.

after high school, oliver went off to study at san francisco state university with a major in business. it was in college that oliver met his first real girlfriend, rachel. the two of them went steady for almost a year, but when he wanted the relationship to be more serious and she wasn't ready for the commitment, the two started arguing. eventually, they broke up and oliver decided to stay away from any serious relationships. throughout college, he had a string of girlfriends, but nothing ever lasted more than a few months, if that. once he graduated college, oliver moved back in with his parents.

at the time, his sister had been living in the guesthouse, but she married and moved to dallas with her husband. with his sister pursuing her own career as a doctor, oliver's father now depended on him to take over the company. despite oliver's lack of interest, he was still dragged along and given the job of being his father's assistant. needless to say, oliver did the minimal amount of work and spent most of his time hitting on the women in the office. in his spare time, he still continued surfing and even took a job as a part-time instructor at the surfer shack. whenever he wasn't working, oliver was given the freedom to use the guesthouse for parties and he took advantage of this quite frequently.

oliver had grown accustomed to his lifestyle, but in 2010, it all ended rather abruptly. his parents were driving home from a charity even during a thunderstorm. unable to see the roads clearly, his father lost control of the car and skidded off the road. both of his parents were killed on impact. not even a few minutes after oliver learned about the accident, he was also informed that his father had left the company to him. not only was oliver devastated by the loss, but he was overwhelmed with the news. after the funeral, he avoided all contact with everybody and fled to his sister's house. he lived there for a couple months before his sister convinced him to go back and take responsibility. once he returned, it was decided that oliver would remain as ceo, but his job would be limited until he was capable of taking over an entire company.

two years later, oliver's job is still mostly one for the public's benefit. he has little control over what the company does, but he is still capable of maintaining his lifestyle. there are the occasional meetings that he must attend, though he often just has to sit in.
