Kelsey wasn't always homeless, she also wasn't always cautious everywhere she goes. She was once a happy girl with a great life. She grew up as a normal girl in a normal household. Her mom was a house wife and her father was a lawyer. He never wanted her mom to lift a finger and work so that was what he did, he worked..a lot. And him working was the downfall to everything.

After a couple years, she watched her mom go from happy with her dad to just not caring and more meh with him and it was all because of how much he worked. The only time he was really home was for lunch and dinner and then it was back to the firm, it was like the law was his family and his actual family was his job. Kelsey learned to live with it because she would always go see him at work, and it's what she grew up on so she figured it was the norm for her.

But as Kelsey looked at her mom, she noticed that her mom was being more friendly with this guy she knew from school that always came over. She was having an affair. Kelsey knew, but she never said anything because she loved her parents and didn't want to be the one to pull the plug on it. But a couple days after Kelsey's seventeeth birthday her dad came home from work early and caught his mom in bed with another man. She had heard a lot of screaming and she ran down stairs to find that her dad killed his mom in an act of rage. he turned around and seen that kels was standing there and then he started to come after her, knowing that she knew and never said anything. Kelsey managed to run and get away and she never looked back.

That started Kelsey's homelessness and unemployed status. She would never hold a job for too long because it'd be too easy for her dad to find her. She didn't even know if he was in jail or not, all she knew was that she needed to keep moving. And that was how she ended up here, living in her car and hiding her homelessness well.
